RetroPie comes with six different options for SNES emulation. Does anyone have any guidelines on which ones work best for which types of games?

I'd been using lr-snes9x-next (the default?) on my Pi 3 but ran into sound issues with a few games. For example, Demon's Crown had choppy audio. Some other emulators played audio without stuttering but seemed to have other issues, like scratchy sounding audio or slightly fuzzier scaling.

Rather than do a bunch of trial and error, I wondered if anyone had any typical guidelines on which emulators are better for what sorts of games.
