Wii pro knock off Bluetooth controller

I am using a pi3 for retro games and can't get the remote to pair. I have a crs Bluetooth adapter, tried a few things from different sites nothing seems to work. Any thoughts would help been trying for quite some time. Thanks

Read this first, fill out the form beginning with "Pi Model or other hardware: ", and post it here.
Do you know the wiki page about Bluetooth Controllers and have you tried its instructions?
What "few things from different sites" did you try exactly?

In short, please tell us every step you took, the desired outcome, and the actual outcome. Any errors or messages that came up would be helpful, too.

I have turned off the onboard Bluetooth, turned off the ps3 driver. Ran sudo Bluetooth ctrl finds the adapter, run power on, agent on,pair on, scan on, and I think it can find the controller but when I enter the controller code to connect it the controller has timed out. Is there a Bluetooth adapter driver that needs to be installed ? Bought it off Amazon came with a little disk, not sure if I am suppose to run / install that somehow or if I can run a sudo comment to get the info.

Forgot to say I bought the kit set up w/ 32g from Amazon aswell. Download was from the website and running latest version 4. Any help would be great. Tv is mounted on the wall , my neck is sore from having to be so close w/ corded controller and looking straight up.

@3boysandagirl Good morning (it's morning where I am). I'm sorry to say that, but it would be really better if you'd just fill out the form in the "Read this first" article and post it here. You also didn't answer my question about the wiki page. Without comprehensive and detailed information, and answers to all questions you were given, it's very hard to help you. That's the reason the form exists.

In the section "USB Devices connected" of the form, please enter the complete model name of the adapter. If possible, give us the output of this command:

lsusb

It lists all connected usb devices as well as their vendor and model IDs (xxxx:yyyy). Those are good for a web search about a particular device.

And as mentioned before, any messages received would be helpful, as well as the commands you used (e.g. the exact command and output of bluetooth ctrl you mentioned). Please put all commands and messages into code blocks like I did with the lsusb command.
