      Hello,

I'm not sure why, but the first post I created wouldn't post. The error I received was: Error post content was flagged as spam by Akismet.com

All script contents I was going to post for my question were in the code block brackets. Any thoughts?

      Thanks,
      -Kevin

@xskull Post the code contents on pastebin.com and put the link to the code in your post.

Thanks for the replies. I'll use pastebin for code items. I figured code blocks would have been enough for a few one liners and commands. I did get my post up, just took out all the code and put them in text form.

The akismet spam detection sometimes makes false positives - probably due to limitations in the nodebb plugin (There are a few unresolved upstream issues). Unfortunately if it's switched off, the forum often gets a lot more spam.

@buzz Thanks for the explanation. Would it be possible to exempt long time and/or high post count users from the spam detection? That would fix this issue with low risks, apart from such an account being hacked or a spammer posing as a normal user for months before beginning to spam.

                edit: Added the italicised text.
