I want to try and use my android phone as a screen for my retropie.

@gs4l You know you can install RetroArch and the emulators on Android ? You don't need RetroPie if you want your gaming device to be your phone. Otherwise, you can get a HDMI to Micro HDMI adapter if your phone has a micro HDMI port.

It can work only, if the phone or tablet have HDMI-in port, which as I know almost none support this. The Android phones/tablets supporting HDMI is mostly output only.
