      Hi, I recently posted asking for help on Reddit with a problem about a new LCD I purchased. This is that post: https://www.reddit.com/r/raspberry_pi/comments/7x2q5f/lcd_screen_not_working/.
      Essentially I have the screen hooked up through HDMI with a power source for both the pi and the screen, however whenever I turn on my pi (has only retropie installed) all I recieve is grey scrolling lines? I've searched a lot on the web and mostly it seems it should work straight out the box (albeit with raspbian not retropie) and that the drivers that need to be installed are purely for the touchscreen which I really don't care about at all, I purely want the display working. There are some more details in the Reddit post which I'll exclude here for brevity. Cheers in advance :)
