    games/emulators wont work pls help

      ive installed retropie to a micro sd card i have the raspberry 3 i installed the right type and everything but games wont show up ive put the digdug rom zip file on a usb under the nes tab in the directory that was made by the device i restarted the emulator and still 0 games and the ony option i have on the screen is the "configuration" tab

        If games do not show up, you have either placed them in the wrong folder or you have placed them in the correct folder but the file format is incorrect or not compatible. Emulators only show up once you add the correct roms.

        https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Nintendo-Entertainment-System/ - Accepted File Extensions: .zip .nes .smc .sfc .fig .swc .mgd - Make sure your roms have headers. Roms without headers will not work.

        Have you placed them in /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/nes?

        ive put the digdug rom zip file on a usb under the nes tab in the directory that was made by the device

        When you say this, it sounds to me that the roms have not been transferred to the Pi. Post more info as requested detailing your actions exactly.

        P.S. (Headers are not part of the original game's data, and are only present to tell emulators how to properly run a ROM image)

          im doing this from my mac and downloaded the zip file from [removed by admin]and i followed instructions from a YouTube video on the channel TheGeekPub i noticed that when i started it up his had options other than the configuration tab i didnt

                  Retropie requires you to read the instructions that are comprehensively written and it's not a boot and play solution. If you have no time, it's the wrong project for you. 99% of all your questions are covered in those docs.
