      Unlike RetroPie users, many or most mame2003 users in general don't have the benefit of a swanky modular install script that places mame's hiscore.dat into the right place for their installation. Some folks on consoles and mobile devices have a hard time doing it at all.

      Therefore with Twinaphex's blessing I have added an experimental new feature to mame2003, which builds the hiscore.dat right into the mame2003 code so it's fundamentally a part of the software for everyone now.

      This is working for the two platforms I can test it on, but if there are any adventurous souls here who would be willing to compile directly from the mame2003 git repository, I'd be grateful for reports on whether games that require hiscore.dat are properly saving their high score tables between sessions.
