      Just a heads up. We, at RetroAchievements.org, now have achievements for Atari 2600.

      Currently just a few games, but there are more to come:

        @meleu

        Very nice to hear! I use the standalone version of Stella more often than not, due to it running more games, but this will definitely give me a reason to switch over to the libretro core from time to time. Which games did you focus on yourself?

          I made an achievement set for Seaquest and Wall Jump Ninja. Another very experienced achievement developer made a set for Pitfal.

          Right now I'm working on a set for Vectorman
          (megadrive), but feel free to suggest an atari game you like and interesting achievements for it, and then I can take a look at it. ;-)

              Man, I love that game. It's one of a select few cartridges that I always pack along with my Nomad.

              Any time you beat that game on normal difficulty is an achievement. I've beaten it more times than I can count and it still kicks my back end every time. Even disregarding the tricky collision detection, there's just so much to juggle before you can make it back to the space ship. There really should have been a part in the game where he gets drunk like in the movie. Although, it might actually explain why he keeps falling into those holes.

                HaHa ;) If this would be made than I think @mediamogul has no excuse for trying this in hardcore mode.

                  The 2600 isn't really my thing. But if you need some badges, let me know.

                    How else am I supposed to get the hardcore 'Rage Quit' achievement? It would be funny to have an achievement that registers an exit from the game within a small window of time. It could be called, 'Eh.... no. I don't think so.'
