      But, boy did Nintendo bamboozle us with Smash Bros. trailer! I thought it was a trailer for a port of Splatoon 1 to the Switch at the beginning!

        @pokeengineer I started screaming when the Smash logo reflected in the Squid Girls eye. I then proceeded to text everyone I knew with just all capital a's.

        They got us good. The whole direct was unexpected announcement after another. But that got me thinking, if this is what a normal direct is in 2018. E3 is going to blow everyone's socks off.

                  I'm calling that Mother 3 will be announced at this year's E3. Considering how insane a normal Nintendo Direct was. Our wildest dreams will be realized.

                    That would be great. I started playing the fan translation last year but never got around to finishing it. I'd definitely want to start over if an official release happened. Heck, it's been so long now, I'd need to start over regardless.
