Issues connecting OUYA and Xbox 360 controllers
-
Hey guys
I have a new retropie install on a r-pi3, I have updated and installed pretty much everything, configured it to run roms off 128gb USB all with just a keyboard connected. Now I'm finally about ready to start playing and am now trying to connect controllers... I have tried 2 different OUYA controllers (deleted all Bluetooth connections, rebooted, added one controller through Bluetooth, added the udev rule (even deleted the file where the rule is), hit escape to save settings, rebooted, powered up the controller, went into Bluetooth settings and verified the controller is connected, nothing happens on the emulation station screen so I use the keyboard to configure input, it shows 1 game pad connected but even with the controller having the first light lit up it doesn't register any key presses) I have gone through this process maybe 5 or 6 times with 3 Different OUYA controllers all with the same results, the controller has the 1st light lit but it won't do anything when trying to configure the input.I have also tried 3 Xbox 360 controllers with a generic wireless controller USb receiver... All will not connect to the USB wireless adapter, I'm guessing the wireless receiver is bad (I can still connect the controllers to the Xbox 360... And yes I have the 360 unplugged while trying to connect to the retropie). I know the USB wireless receiver might be bad so I'm not as concerned about this one.
I have a really nice 2 player controller I built for a old mame box, but it has a ps2 controller board so it is dead until I get a new controller and rewire it...
I'm jonezing for my classic gaming fix and really need some help!
If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions I would love to hear them!
