      Hi all.
      Is it possible to put a stretch lite image onto my sd card and install retropie the manual way.
      Will this work and also will I still get the updates for stretch that the retropie team are currently Woking on.

        The RetroPie image is based on Raspbian Lite (Stretch or Jessie, depending on which image you choose), so you would be better to install the Stretch beta image provided and then update the binaries.
