FTP - Deletion

Hello:

I am using Filezilla to upload roms to the RPi3 in my cabinet.

When you delete things in Filezilla are they really deleted or do they go to some recycle bin that needs to be manually emptied? I googled this a few times but could not come up with a concise answer.

@battlecat When you delete them through Filezilla they're gone, there's no recycle bin.
