RPI Generic LCD Problems running from RPI 0W

I'm attempting to build a portable retropie machine, using the pi 0W and various components from several sellers. Nearly everything seems to be working fine, yet no matter what i do I can't seem to get my 2.4" tft screen to show anything but a blank, white display. Any advice?
