Installing custom builds on kodi.

I've tried to install two different custom builds for Kodi and when it comes to having to kill Kodi I unplug it like you would do a fire stick but when I try to reboot and go into Kodi via retropie I'm met with an error and it doesn't load. I get the same result as if I exit Kodi and then reenter Kodi. Has anybody gotten builds to work within retropie.

Don't unplug the power cord to reboot the raspberry pi, it can cause problems and can even make your OS unbootable! Log in via ssh instead and kill the proccess that are freezing the Pi.
Related to "builds", they are not supported here neither on the kodi oficial forum, you have to ask for support to the guy who makes the build himself.

You need to read the forum rules. You were already informed above that builds (AKA pirate Kodi installs and addons) are not supported here. Discussion of pirate software, especially how to get it operational, is also not allowed.
