      Hi,

Apologies, I shouldn't have used 18.04, please help if you can.

      Hardware: NUC7i5
Built From: Retropie standard script on top of Ubuntu 18.04 x64 (compiles successfully)
USB Devices connected: Keyboard, Mouse, Tankstick
      Controller used: Tankstick
      Error messages received: None
Log found in /dev/shm/runcommand.log (if relevant): Not relevant
Emulator: (Name of emulator - if applicable): lr-mame2003
How to replicate the problem: Run emulationstation, select any ROM
Note: I made sure I got the correct ROM versions (MAME 2003 reference set)

      Description:

      I installed Galaga and Gyruss

Galaga freezes at "There are known problems with this game"
Gyruss freezes on a blank black screen

      Thanks.

      Richard

It seems to be a known issue

@rthorntn Switch the RetroArch video driver to sdl2 or try logging in with a Wayland enabled session. See
