More or less I am in the same question. In China there is the great firewall. If I can get the 3.8 before today, I will put it on KAT...

Thanks, out of curiosity, how come the torrent shows as +2Gb?

Yup, good catch. It's the uncompressed image...my computer must've automatically unzipped the original file and I didn't realise when I made the torrent.

                Previous link updated.

If you want some games, there is also a DVD image :

The MD5 of the torrent file for 2/3 does not match the MD5 of the web file! This is not the same file.
Please, can upload the original file instead of the uncompressed->compressed file again? Just to ensure it is virus-free :)

@jcx64 - If you're referring to my torrent it's not a self-compressed file; I redownloaded the gzipped original and created a new torrent with it...not sure why the hash doesn't match.

[edit] Just double-checked...did you spot that the official Retropie image is now at 3.8.1? My torrent is the 3.8 version; not sure what the hash is of that file as it's no longer available to download.
Good call mind you, file hashes are something I never check, but probably should when I'm supplying files to other people. If there did happen to be a virus in there I'd never even know about it (Mac/Linux user with no antivirus installed).
