2.4GHz usb adapter to SF30 and SN30 controllers with 2.4GHz 8bitdo receiver?
-
Hi guys, I recenly (by mistake), bought a 8bitdo, SNES controller (wireless 2.4ghz) but with a 2.4Ghz receiver which I recenly noticed that the connector is something like "SN30 or SFC3.0), I thought initially that it was a usb port.
My question is, does raspberry or retropie recognize 2.4ghz devices (that require a dongle)?
If not..., can I buy a 2.4ghz usb adapter to replace the one the controller came with? This is the controller I bought in amazon.

This is the adapter it came:The adapter i 'm refering (in case it would work with this) is similar to this (the one at the right, USB ADAPTER for PC, Android):
Also, just in case what should I see? frequency?
Thanks a lot in advance.

@panamanian AFAIK this kind of wireless adapters are not something standard, but vendor specific - you'll not be able to use them inter-changeably. If you want to keep the controller, better get a SNES<->USB converter, otherwise return it and get a similar Bluetooth controller.

@panamanian I think you need to get the 8Bitdo Wireless USB Adapter
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong?
Edit: No. I was wrong.
Controller Compatibility
8Bitdo controllers and arcade sticks (excluding 2.4G controllers)That's to bad. Wish they would release a USB Adapter for the 2.4ghz models.
