Upgraded to stretch and RetroPie 4.4. Emulationstation is running fine but Atrract commond gets Segmentation Fault. Any ideas?

Apologies for the little information but retracing all the steps to this point is largely disjointed. Any help would be great. Will start from stratch if needed but not 100% what files folders to save before hand. Cheers.

I assume you're trying to start Attract Mode and it crashes, right ? What's the error message when you try to start it from the command line ?

@mitu thank you for the reply!

From the CLI typing attract gives “Segmentation Fault” only. Not much to go by. Tried automatically starting in attract it but same thing - 790 Segmentatuon Fault.

Is it strange that emulationstation is ok but attract has issues. Tried removing and installing via retropie-setup.sh but same problem. Also tried updating via https://nostalgiatechs.com/update-attract-mode but issue at: sudo make install USE_GLES=1. Didn’t have a bar of it.

Not sure where to go with it. The img. was a loaded 128gb package that might not have been designed to upgrade to stretch??? Seems ok albeit attract.
