      Hi Everyone! I am trying to use shell scripts to make my apple II rom directories a little more tidy. I am using this bash script to make it work:

      #!/bin/bash
      /opt/retropie/emulators/linapple/linapple -1 /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/apple2/test.dsk

      If i try to run this from the Emulation Station, it just loads up the Apple II emulator, but doesn't actually load the ROM. If I exit out of Emulation Station and run the same command from the termina/prompt, it works fine (loads the specified rom)?? Any pointers on why this is the case?

      Also, if I add SH scripts to this folder, should the ES automatically pick them up and add them to the gamelist.xml on reboot? It doesn't seem to want to add them as far as I can tell.
