I have been playing with the v4.4 retropie image. This is the second time I've installed the image on the same SD card. I messed up the first one installing Kodi. smh...

The first installation my aspect ratios were off but a modification of config.txt > overscan_left=16; right; top; bottom fixed it right up. Respectively, I set those parameters (again) to overscan_**=50, 50, 40, 40 and got a picture that fit my TV in both the CLI and ES.

Now, the Retropie CLI is within the TV frame but Emulationstation isn't. Top, bottom and sides are cut off. It's like my "overscan_**=50, 50, 40, 40 took effect only in the Retropie and not ES.

Any ideas why adjusting overscan_** fixed the problem for both the CLI and ES the first time and now this second time overscan_** is only correcting Retropie CLI and not ES?
