Is there an easy workaround to turning Wifi on/off in Retropie? Multiple Shanwan controllers work only with Wifi off.

I was able to get both of my Shanwan PS3 controllers working via Bluetooth by disabling Wifi by entering dtoverlay=pi3-disable-wifi in the config.txt file. Prior to this, I could pair both controllers, but one would disconnect within seconds.

If there is a workaround to that problem that would be amazing. However, if not, I would like to know if there is an easier way to toggle Wifi on/off within retropie without using the config.txt file.

I read the possibility of adding an option to the GUI in this thread, but it wasn't clear if this would work with the Raspberry Pi 3:

Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thank you.

@salahuddin The scripts mentioned in the topic you referenced should work on a Pi3, so you can use it to toggle the Wifi from the interface.

I have shortcuts to turn WiFi on and off on my RetroPie menu. Just create the respective .sh files in the RetroPie menu folder and grant them execution permissions.

Happy to share mine if it helps, but I'm sure I got whatever they are running somewhere in the future or Google as well.
