      so im testing lr-mame2003, 2010, 2014 and 2016 on retropie 4.4.1 and retroarch .173 on my pi 3 b+ and no mouse works at all. i have tried 4 different mice seperately and all together. with them all plugged in they all work at the same time in stella and basiliskii. in the retroarch gui enable mouse is set to enabled. can someone test games like world class bowling and test if their mouse works on retropie 4.4?

        I was curious to see what the deal was here. Did you ever get the mice working? Could it have anything to do with the mouse index setting that was added recently-ish?

          @edmaul69 I have a trackball (set as a mouse) that works with mame2003 and millipede/centipede on 4.4. I'll try WCB tomorrow.

            @stoney66 did you set the controller index to a mouse? I didnt have to do that before. Mice/trackballs just worked. I will change the index and see what happens.

                @edmaul69

                You can now choose which mouse device is used for which player in the player input settings. Needless to say, if the right device isn't assigned to the right player, it's not going to be read, whereas before, they all just worked indiscriminately.

                    There should be a listing labeled 'Mouse Index' in each of the numbered player settings inside the 'Input' menu.

                        @edmaul69 sorry I was wrong, the games I have working with trackball are with advmame1.4 not mame2003.
