M.A.M.E "REY" and "REV" files not working...

A couple of the games I've installed for the M.A.M.E. file have worked, but most of them haven't worked. The ones that haven't worked all mysteriously have "REY" or "REV" next to the name of the game. (I'm not able to tell exactly what the letters are considering the quality of my screen) Also, what is the difference between the "mame-libretro" and the "mame-mame4all"?

There's a lot that you need to go over and learn when first dealing with MAME. You should start here and move forward into the docs as needed.
