Logitech Gamepad F310 not working

i have a Logitech Gamepad F310 and i configured it and every time i go into a game it says Logitech Gamepad F310 Not configured. is it because of permissions or what.

Could be. Can you check if a
Logitech Gamepad F310.cfgfile exists in the/opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypadsfolder, and what permissions does it have ? -
I recently got this controller and was having weird issues until I found the [X - D] switch (xbox/dualshock) on the bottom of the controller and re-setup the configs with the controller in Dualshock mode. No more problems.

The 'X' stands for "XInput" and the 'D' stands for "DirectInput".
