@mitu I tried variously, but samples can't be read.:(

      /bios/samples/moepro.zip

      /bios/ir-nestopia/samples/moepro.zip

      /bios/moepro.zip

      /nes/moepro.zip

@tenmabashi I think the proper path should be in the BIOS (under BIOS or BIOS/samples), but for some reason they're not loaded. Hm, I wonder why ..
EDIT: could be that the libretro core doesn't support sound samples - so I was wrong assuming it has - but the standalone version seems to load them fine. I'll try to find an answer.

OK, it seems that samples are not loaded by the libretro core, it was specific to the Windows version of Nestopia. I was wrong assuming it's included in the core, sorry for giving you false info.

Good news, the Nestopia developer ported the sample feature to the libretro core.
You can use samples by extracting them to the /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/nestopia/samples/<GAME>, where <GAME> is one of the 5 supported games: moepro, moepro88, mptennis, terao, ftaerobi.

I had try to put these samples zip file to the /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/nestopia/samples/ folder.
                Filename is moepro.zip,moepro88.zip...
But it look like no work... When I play game it's always no speak any word, music only .
If anyone set up and worked , please tell me how to do this, thanks.

@heroism please read my previous post - you need to extract the samples into their own folder.

                    Thank your for reply.
So you mean for example: I play moepro88 game, I should unzip the zip file in to /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/nestopia/samples/moepro88/ Folder.
And those files in the folder were look like 01.wav,02.wav...
Or I put moepro88.zip zip file into /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/nestopia/samples/moepro88/?
If I can, I will do all the way to try, Thanks.

I was put zip file and wav file into /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/nestopia/samples/<gamename> folder.
It was still no work. By other side, the PC version play sound very well.
I just want to play Janpanese baseball game with perfect sound, maybe I can use PC only...

@heroism Again, you need to unzip the samples in their own game folder for this to work.
