I am building a retro console with a Raspberry Pi 3 B at it's core and I would like to use it with composite output for a CRT TV (nostalgia and all). It all works fine and I get the picture when the HDMI cable is unplugged but the picture quality is very very bad. Very low resolution, very blurry text and visible flickering. I have tried setting the sdtv_mode=2 option since the TV is PAL, I have tried to force a bigger resolution but that just made everything smaller but just as blurry. I have searched the forums for hours on end, Please give some advice. Even my old Famiclone gives out sharper image than this.
