I'm getting following message when trying to install VICE C64 emulator from RetroPie scruipt on x64 Ubuntu 18.10 (and also Linux Mint 18.3 and 19):

Could not successfully build vice - C64 emulator VICE (/home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/tmp/build/vice/src/x64 not found).

      Here's install log:

I have found old post from few years ago, with exactly same problem which apparently was fixed. Could this issue be caused by changes made to new versions of Ubuntu and LM?

      Any help appreciated.

@adriansos666 No, it seems to be an upstream code issue and doesn't seem related to the Linux distribution used.

@mitu I see. I'm able to install Vice using Ubuntu app center. I wonder if I could copy binaries and libs to the /opt/retropie/emulators/vice ...
