I was able to get Neo-Geo to work. I copied the neogeo.zip bios file directly into the neogeo rom folder. I found those instructions as far as were to put it on the web. This is the URL that gave me that info.

      https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/neo-geo

I then was able to download neogeo game roms and put them in the same rom folder and they worked.

My question is that because the neogeo.zip is in the roms folder it shows up like it's a game. Is there a way to prevent neo-geo from show in the list of games? Since it's the bio and not really a rom?

      I'm using RetroPie 3.7

        Hey,

I was looking for a way just a day or so ago. Here are some relevant topics:

        https://github.com/Aloshi/EmulationStation/issues/371
        https://www.reddit.com/r/emulationstation/comments/3gilif/hiding_roms/

I have not tried any of the solutions I've read, but if you try any of this, please report back.
