Any Wimbledon watchers here? Some amazing matches so far!
It got me thinking if some of you are playing tennis games on your Pi's and if so, which ones do you like?
I think Virtua tennis 3 for psp is one of the best tennis games for the Pi 3. Without overclocking it still plays very well and looks beautiful (frameskip set to 1). It does stutter in the closeups in between the rallies, but they are skippable. The only drawback is the lack of a 2 player mode.

@bobharris fantastic game today with Kevin Anderson and John Isner. I didn't quite see all of it, but it was 6h 35m or so. Didn't see the Nadal game yet. But has been some great tennis. I'm rooting for Anderson as his come back against Federer was amazing. Anderson just be tired now!

I forgot to mention games. I used to love a couple on the Amiga. Can't remember the names. One may have just been 3d tennis. Was wireframe 3d, but played well.

Liked top spin 2 on the Xbox. Not played anything newer than that. The arcade one from sega was fun but tough. virtua tennis?

@buzz A Sega arcade tennis game was probably virtua tennis yes. It's not quite tennis simulation, but it is the most fun I've had with a game in the genre.
I've played some smash court tennis too and Top spin as well (on ps1 and ps3 respectively)..especially Top spin is hard to get into.

Btw I've seen the entire Isner Anderson match, thoroughly enjoyed it..but I don't know how Anderson can recover from that in less than two days time.

For some reason I always enjoyed Anna Kournikova on the PS1, before that, stuff like Match Point on the C64

                  I like Tennis for NES.
It is really basic and has 2 players.
Plus Mario is the referee, so you can't go wrong.

I suddenly remember my first tennis game: Pete Sampras tennis for the Game gear.

Had lots of fun with it.
