-
Hi new here...
BTW great work...
I have a little problem....I put the roms in atarilynx directory and the bootlynx.img in the same directory...
I read that handy doesn't want a boot image only the beegle...
I try both but nothing...The roms have the the .lnx in the end...
So am i doing something wrong...or...something else...

/home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS
-
I do that but nothing happend...
Thanks... -
https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Atari-Lynx BIOS file name is specified on the wiki page as lynxboot.img.
Also the more info about your environment you can provide the better: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

@Douggernaut I read the page do excactly what it needs but nothing..:)
As for the environment :
Pi2
Retropie : 3.8
Emulator : atari lynxThank you....

You don't even need to add Bios for Lynx. Just add roms to the correct folder. Worked for me.

With everything you've tried, it might be your roms that are problematic. Emulators aren't normally too picky in that regard, but after trying an emulator that needs a bios and one that doesn't with the same results, it would seem that your troubles may lie elsewhere.
-
@kris964 beetle-lynx does need a bios.
-
Also, you may need to switch the type of ROMs you have. I don't remember which it was now, but I think I had headered ROMs and they didn't work at all so once I switched to unheadered ROMs, they played fine.
If that's not right, just flip/flop it. I just don't remember if it was headered or unheadered that worked now, just that I had to change it up.
-
@zerojay how can i flip flop the header of the roms?
Thanks... -
Get roms that have the opposite of what you have already whatever that is.
-
@mediamogul i think you are right.... Now were i can find all that roms?
But i try that roms with handy 0.95 in windows and work just fine...
Thanks...
-
You're on your own for that.
-
@Douggernaut it is an hypothetical question.. 😀
-
@azrael11 and it's a cut and dried answer.

I found my roms in a bicycle shop in Cairo. The owner wanted them taken down to Dar es Salaam...
