Please can anyone tell me how to reset my SD card after usage for Retropie to use it again with a Windows or Mac???
I already tried everything starting from diskpart in Windows over fdisk and diskutil on a Mac and finally ending with gparted on an ubunto live linux but nothing worked!
With gparted it showed me the two partitions and I was able to tell him to delete the partitions and to build a new one formatted in fat32 but when confirming the changes there are always errors like "overlapping" (they are NOT overlapping!) or other errors.

The boot and retropie partitions are still on the SD card and I really want to use the card again for other things.
What can I do to use the card again as a normal data storage unit on other devices???

Many thanks in advance for your help.

@hohlinger The easiest way for me was to format the card in my camera.

On a PC you can go into administrative tools and wipe the partitions and then reformat.
