Dreamcast "They Hunger" and "Paranoia" Half-Life Mods
-
Does anyone remember these? 2 great horror mods for the original Half Life, they were also ported over to the Dreamcast.
Does anyone know of a working download link for these mods? Really want to play them again, either on RetroPie or on my actual DC.
The only links I could find were hosted on theisozone, but that has shut down. curses NintendoIf anyone has them and could upload someplace, myself and I dare say a few others would be very grateful.

Please read the rules - there's no ROM/game sharing in the forums.

@mitu
Apologies. I'll be honest, I only saw references to copyrighted material and as the mod is freeware, figured it was safe to ask.
Feel free to close the thread if needs be. -

Ah, if they're freely re-distributable, that's ok. I remember the PC version for the 'They Hunger' mods, highly entertaining. You could try finding them on the moddb.com site - I know the PC versions are there and they're freely downloadable.

@mitu
Yeah, I checked moddb but it links to a well-known and recently shut down ROM site to download the DC version :(Hopefully someone here has them stashed somewhere and can upload/link me to them. I was sat playing Half-Life on the DC last night and it works surprisingly well! Shame it never got an official release.

Too bad the Source version has never been fully completed.

I wish I still had my PC to get in on all the old HL mods. Good times indeed.
Shame there isn't an easy/user friendly way to get these on RetroPie. -
@mitu Really... so it was the original version that i played then i know that i played 3 episodes of them. dont know if there are anymore then that
-
@exarkuniv They are 3 episodes released for the HL1 (GoldSrc) engine indeed. They (actually it was just one developer) intended to do a new release for the HL2 (Source) engine (http://www.blackwidowgames.com), but it never came to fruition.

@mitu well thats cool and sucks. it would of been amazing on HL2. oh well. there is so much out there that would of been great, but just stops getting worked on
