      I have been trying to figure the root cause of a sound issue that I'm having when trying to play FF4 using PCSX-Rearmed. Basically the sound works fine until I get to the Mist village and the audio freaks out. It's always at the same place. I did have the same bug occur earlier in the opening castle of the game but once the music changed the bug went away. So two different occurrences within 20 min of gameplay. Video continues to work as expected.

      Here is the audio bug:

      Logfile of /dev/shm/runcommand: https://pastebin.com/VqtaH6qp

      I've tried changing audio driver in retroarch to sdl2 and asla

      In /boot/config.txt I've made these changes:
      hdmi_drive=2
      hdmi_force_hotplug=1
      hdmi_force_edid_audio=1

      Controller: 8bitdo NES30
      Emulator pcsx-rearmed
