backup scraped images?
-
Hi guys,
I have just changed out my IPAC for a couple of zero delay boards in the hope that the config will go easier. I havent updated retropie for over a year, I configed the zero delays in ES no problem, but then when going into a game the config is crazily different, and when i come back out of the game player ones config in ES is all messed up.I want to start fresh with a new image and then do the config. This will be the last thing I try before abandoning Retropie and trying recalbox and lakka.
Assuming that the fresh image and controller config works, how do I backup the scrapes I have in RP?
Am I right in thinking that I just need to backup the following?
/home/pi/.emulationstation/downloaded_images
/home/pi/.emulationstation/gameliststhanks in advance

@spruce_m00se said in backup scraped images?:
/home/pi/.emulationstation/downloaded_images
/home/pi/.emulationstation/gamelistsIf you used the default built-in scraper, then yes, it would be enough. If you used an external scraper and it stored images in the ROMs folders, then they'll be backed up along with the ROMs (and possibly the
gamelist.xml
file).
Do you also have videos for the ROMs scraped ? -
I only have pics scraped. I used the default scraper, so I will backup my roms folder and the mentioned paths, I hope they are accesible in windows over the network . :)
