Hello, retro pie newbie here! I've noticed that the newest update for retro pie (3.8) allows for multitap use on the PSX. I've played with 4 players Using the Snes emulator with no problems, but the PSX is giving me some difficulty. Any help would be great!

That helps but I still can't find where the multitap option is in retro arch. I'm sure I'm missing something simple

@dankcushions Ah sorry for confusion! I've been able to enter into the retro arch menu for the PSX but I cannot find the proper area to setup the multitap. I've used the SNES and gone into the quick menu and changed the 2nd controller setting to Multitap but I cannot figure out how to do this on the PSX.

I see everything similarly to the SNES quick menu. I've navigated to the input options and attempted to change the the controller from "RetroPad" to "Multitap" (like the super nintendo) but the option hasn't presented itself, only "Retropad" and "Retropad w/ Analog" appear. I am assuredly missing something simple.

sounds like you don't have the latest version? oh, actually I think @BuZz backed it out of the binaries because there's a related crash issue... I will see if I can look into the crash tomorrow and return when it's working :)

@dankcushions Ah thanks so much! I'll attempt to update it again, hopefully all works out soon. Thanks much for your time!

This. I had issues loading games in the Android version of retroarch about a month ago and came across this:

                        Definitely sounds related.

@Concat it is - and so the prebuilt binaries have been downgraded because of this.
