      I am using a Pi zero W

I have set up everything correctly and am able to play games! The problem is when ever it is switched on and everything is loading it requires me to hit enter with a keyboard to boot into emulation station.

I am wanting it to be a handheld so it is quite unfortunate because if i am to use it i have to plug in my keyboard to hit enter. After I hit enter i no longer need the keyboard and am able to use my controller.

Ive tried looking through the forums for something similar but no luck yet.

      Any help would be awesome!

What is the message shown by Emulationstation - expecting you to hit enter ?

So it goes through the normal loading screen that you would see if you dont have a splash screen then it finishes loading and it says "press enter to continue"

and then i have to plug a keyboard in to hit enter, then it loads emulation station and i can play games and use my controller.

That doesn't sound like something that's part of RetroPie - did you add any extra programs to be executed during auto-start ? Also - https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

sorry for the bad image quality....im thinking maybe it has something to do with my sd card? It is a 64 GB. But idk because everything else works perfectly fine.

@lockchain In order to get help, you need to fill out that form linked in full. Nobody is prepared to spend time guessing at those answers.
