      When loading from ES to boot a PSX Rom, It doesn't load at all when using lr-beetle.
      This is from the runcommand.log;

      Parameters:
      Executing: /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-beetle-psx/mednafen_psx_hw_libretro.so --config /opt/retropie/configs/psx/retroarch.cfg "/home/arcade/RetroPie/roms/psx/One.cue" --appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarch.cfg

      The bios files are in the correct place. I have a hunch that it is looking in the wrong location for either the bios or rom.

              all bios files are correctly named and loaded

              Error Message;

              No error message, tries to boot then heads back to emulationstation

              run command info:

              psx
              lr-beetle-psx
              /home/arcade/RetroPie/roms/psx/one.cue

              I would use pastebin, but no access to it.

              I have pcsxr running separate to emulationstation/retropie, on the system, hence why I know the bios etc are working.

              Thanks

                @muttleyloz Run the emulator with verbose logging enabled from the Runcommand launch menu then get the contents of the log file and paste it somewhere online. If you don't have access to pastebin.com, try pastebin.ubuntu.com or other open paste web site.

                  @mitu Thanks for the paste.ubuntu.com website, this link works here in China.

                  This is ther verbose logging https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/p/ZRfSZvZHyR/

                  I did see it can't find the bios file, which is shocking as it is in RetroPie/BIOS area

                  Thanks once again.

                    You probably modified some of the config files for RetroArch and you unset the SYSTEM folder location. The log shows

                    [..]
                    [WARN] SYSTEM DIR is empty, assume CONTENT DIR /home/arcade/RetroPie/roms/psx/One.cue

                    therefore, RetroArch looks in the ROM folder for system content (i.e. BIOS files)

                    [INFO] Environ SYSTEM_DIRECTORY: "/home/arcade/RetroPie/roms/psx/".

                    Re-install RetroArch or restore the default retroarch.cfg.

                      @mitu I will reinstall RetroArch and see how that goes.

                      I would note that I havn't touched these files. When originally setting up RetroPie, it did not initially install, I had to go install this seperatley. Will I need to uninstall to install or update?

                      Thanks

                        @muttleyloz What did you install separately ? I think it's better to wait for the RetroPie script got support your distro and have everything re-installed again without any errors.

                          @mitu I had to install retroarch separately. I have tried Ubuntu 18. And an older 16 for retropie, getting worse results than this LMDE to build. Any suggestions on a distro? I'll partition and take it from there.

                              @mitu If retroarch is looking for and the bios, which folder? As if there is a folder it is searching at all it could be worth to drop it into that folder. I reinstalled and nothing.
