How can i force Beetle PSX installation?

Ive done some heavy OC on my aircooled PI3B+ and want to test it but it seems to be impossible to install it without some commandline hacking and im not good with that linux stuff.
I tried installing it with the help of the Retropie-Setup menu but the Emulator is not under optional OR experimental packages.
Please help... i can SSH log into my Pi but i need those weird commandlines to install it manually it seems...

Heyho.
So this:
$ grep flags scriptmodules/libretrocores/lr-beetle-psx.shrp_module_flags="!arm"
installs it? or just removes the flag so i can find it under optional packages? Can i just enter the above commandline when i start the console window via WinSCP? Im not good with this commandline stuff. :/

So why are you trying to force it ? There's a reason is not available on the Pi and it might not even compile.
Use the Overclocking page in the Docs and look also at @quicksilver's advice to use Quake3 in a demo loop to run in order to stress your PI.

PCSX-rearmed has problems with some games if you dont use Bilinear Filtering (which i hate to use, i love pixel look). Those games run with Mednafen-PSX without a problem (already confirmed to 100% on my x86 system, which sadly isnt the size of a creditcard). The Wiki-Page is mentioning a Pi2. I run a Pi3b+ at almost 1.8ghz, i just want to give it a try and i dont understand why people dont even put it under experimental cores. Thats all...i dont want to test my Overclock in general.

You're assuming it runs on a PI/Raspbian system or it even compiles. You're free to try, but my guess is that - based on the requirements, both hardware and software - it's not what you expect.

huh? news to me. bilinear filtering is post processing. it can’t positively affect compatibility.

Because there is a connection? Sorry that i can navigate to a config file and change values for Overclocking lol. There are millions of guides out there that are easy to understand without a degree in computer science or IT. Especially if you overclock x86 systems for over 20 years.

90% run without a problem (with or without BF) but there are some RPGs that have vertical scrolling artifacts on prerendered backgrounds without BF.

@yuke that's just the nature of scaling from one resolution to another. different emulators won't help here, especially as beetle will only run (very slowly) in exactly the same resolution'd software mode, as you won't be able to run it higher resolution open gl mode with the pi's GPU featureset. (even the higher resolution mode I think is a factor of the original resolution anyway, so may still have the issue).
you could eliminate the artefacts by running with integer scaling turned on (you'd get small/large borders, though).
