ALONE IN THE DARK THE NEW NIGHTMARE - PSX ROM

Hi everybody!! wanting to play my favourite game in the pie "alone in the dark, the new nightmare" I came across that the controller is not recognized by the game. Appears a mesage in the game saying that I have a connect a controller on the port.
Does any og you have an idea if this can be solved?

assuming your using the libretro port and not the standalone psx emulator could you go into the retroarch quick menu and access core options then check pad 1 type is set to standard theres a handful of games where if you enable analogue it breaks the controller mostly in older psx games
this may not be the cause but its one issue i was bumping into when i was setting up all my psx games if that fixes your issue save a game specific overide in your core settings so it auto loads that whenever you play that specific game

I did that and the result is the same. I´m going to try again.
In the other games works fine. except for this...
