      Hi,

I have the latest version of Retropie and I have an SN30 pro. It was working fine until I tried to update the firmware. I've had it for a year so I think out of the box it was 1.03, and I never updated the firmware. Anyway, I tried updating to the latest firmware (1.29), and it wouldnt even be recognized by windows after that and the lights would not come on when trying to power it on ever. I stepped down through the various firmware virsions and nothing worked until I put on 1.20, and the lights came back on and Windows recognized it. Anyway, ever since all this, I tried to pair it back with my RPI 3 B+ and it will recognize the controller for about 20-30 seconds. I'll go back into emulation station and I either have to try to configure it ( or it already remembers my previous configuration) and I can cycle through menus for about 20-30 seconds until it just stops working. I can't turn it off or on either, the LED just seems to stay frozen where it is. Has anyone had this issue and does anyone know how to fix it? I've tried all modes... switch, dinput, xinput, and mac, then removing and re-pairing. All give the same result.

I'm so sick of this 8bitdo controller. I know everyone loves them, but why do we keep supporting a product that has NO quality control?
