Hi there. Im not particularly savy when it comes to this kind of stuff so bear with me. bought a nes30 pro and updated the software to the latest version. I then set it up over bluetooth on my pi 3. Set up fine works in the menu really well. Only problem is that it will not respond in game?
      Any help is apreciated.

@maxmwk12 if you did update, there is a hack option for Bluetooth when setting up for 8bitdo. You need to Un-select the box, resync your controller, then re-set it up again in emulationstation.

In addition to what @edmaul69 said, the 8bit controllers have also a multiple-mode operation switch, depending on which device they're connected (Switch, PC, Android). See this topic for pros and cons on each connection mode, but the consensus seems to be that starting the controller in Android connection mode is the best.
So remove your existing pairing, start the controller in Android mode and re-pair the controller. Re-configure it again in Emulationstation and see if this solves your problem.

@mitu so if I go to bluetooth and search for controllers with the android button combination will it connect?
