touch screen ds done in the style of wii u

as we approach the release of the pi 4 I've been thinking of the system that would become viable on it's release such as the 64, the psp, and the ds and one of my main concerns was how to make the touch screen more viable for the ds. So i was wondering maybe we could take the base ideal of this https://www.amazon.com/Waveshare-Game-Raspberry-Resolution-Experience/dp/B07G57BC3R/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&qid=1534482940&sr=8-1&keywords=waveshare+gamehat&linkCode=sl1&tag=e074d-20&linkId=fcf38cab4c2dd0e788c5dcc344564aa3&language=en_US and expand on it to implement a touch screen system for the ds with a unique script that displays the upper screen on a tv while keeping the bottom screen on the device itself making it operate in a similar manner that the wii u would.
