Trying to play Mortal Combat and it seems Mupen64 won't recognize a second paired controller. The second controller is working via the UI and jstest. But not in the game.

mupen64plus.cfg has four controllers defined with incrementing device numbers.

      What am I missing?

Could it be that since Emulation Station is seeing two controllers configured for each wireless attached it is attaching the second controller as controller number 3 and this confuses the game?

I tried changing the "device" line in mupen64plus.cfg assuming first controller was device 1 and 2, second was 3 and 4, etc. But no luck. Second controller still not recognized.
When I select "Configure Input" in emulation station, the second controller displays as "Gamepad 3".

So yeah, that was it. Add the udev rule and trigger udev. Hey, the controller wiki really needs to be updated with the ps4 controller.
