      Basically I was attempting to get my Wii U Gamecube Adapter working with the Pi. After succeeding, the Pi was no longer logging in automatically. I attempted a fix listed here which mentioned to edit this file: /etc/systemd/system/getty.target.wants/getty@tty1.service to add auto login.

      And that's how I got stuck here. Unfortunately I thought loading the SD card in Ubuntu and removing the part I added to the file would fix it but literally nothing at this point has fixed it. I'm not sure where to go from here and could really use some assistance.

        @Vikeyev Did you modify the /etc/rc.local startup script ? Remove or comment anything there if you did and see if that fixes your init problem.
