      Did you guys saw this? There is a Sim City version for NES, made by Mr. Wright (the original Sim City programmer) and Mr. Miyamoto (the Mario inventor) himself as a prototype before the SNES version came out. Actually, the original plan was to release both versions. That page provides in-depth documentation and the story behind it, starting with the very first Sim City version and when Miyamoto was introduced. Interesting historical read.

      Note: There is a link on the bottom of that page, which leads to another page for downloading the NES prototype rom. If that is a problem here, I will remove the above link. But as they don't provide direct download links and the page itself is about documenting history, this would be ok. Please need clarification, as I don't want break any forum rules.
