3 player controls getting swapped

I have a 3 player arcade with 3 buttons and a joystick for each player. I configured the joysticks and buttons in the Mame4all emulator but every time I exit and go to a different game, the players are swapped around ( player 1 is player 2 etc.). How can this be permanently fixed?

@aj36601 I had a similar issue with my 2 player setup. I found that once I just swapped ports on the usb, that it stayed fixed.
