ControlBlock vs Zero Delay

I am (still) building a full size arcade cabinet and for now I will be using a RPi. I am finishing up and build the whole with Zero Delay controllers. But I also ordered a Controlblock. What would be the benefit of the latter (which means rewiring for me)? The power function is already covered by a Mausberry or Powerblock I have laying around... Is the Controlblock better? Faster? More responsive? Or just more compact and blessed with a nice power function? ;)
