PS3 controller will only sync to player 2
-
Raspberry PI B+
Retropie 4.4
USB keyboard
Official PS3 dual shock controller
Official pi power supplyUsed to be able to Bluetooth sync the controller to player 1, but after using it on the PS3 but after going back to Retropie it will only sync to player 2. I have updated the setup script, reset the controller, removed all Bluetooth devices, reinstalled PS3 drivers from source, and it still syncs to player 2 when I connect via the PS3 controller setup section in the manage drivers section of Retropie.
I also noticed that 2 x game pads are detected when going into the controller setup screen.
Not sure what the second controller is but I can’t seem to figure this one out
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance

Try removing the
ps3
driver and install the one next to it - thecustomhidsonly
driver. You'll have to reboot after the installation, then remove any connected Bluetooth devices and re-pair the controller again. After that, try configuring the gamepad in Emulationstation. -
@mitu solved it!!!
On the driver screen for controllers I selected uninstall all, then reinstalled ps3 controller only.
Connected to player 1 immediately.
Thanks for your advice.
