I installed eduke32 from the retropie_setup.sh script and it didn't create a eduke32.cfg file in /opt/retropie/configs/ports/duke3d. I am trying to get my controller to work, so I copied the file in this guide to /opt/retropie/configs/ports/duke3d/eduke32.cfg, but I still can't use my controller. If I change the mouse options in the cfg file, it doesn't change the mouse controls in the game either.

How can I get the game to use the eduke32.cfg in /opt/retropie/configs/ports/duke3d/?

@Rincewind I had the same problem and after a lot of trying this is what I do :

        1. connect a keyboard enter the game go to controls , change something exit, start a new name.
        2. then I discovered a eduke32.log file in home/pi, copy this path that appear inside:

/home/pi/.config/eduke32/ and paste it in winscp (.config is a hidden folder)
        3) there is your cfg file.

Hope it helps, I still have to tweak this files to make the game work propperly.
