      I'd say it's expected, since the internal Emulationstation scraper doesn't work at the moment.

            @mitu I'm using V2.7.6RP
            by the way, the scraper that I'm using and that it's not updating megadrive gamelist.xml is Steven Selph's Scraper

              Please add the exact error and settings you use to scrape. What's your console source set to ? If it's Thegamesdb, try changing it to Screenscraper.

                @mitu i get no errors. it says that scrapping procedure accomplished, but the .xml file doesn't change.

                I'm using every source

                  @Chuck_B Maybe it's a permissions problem - try resetting the permissions on the ROM folders (see here how to do it) and try again.

                      @Chuck_B Which gamelist.xml file are you checking - i.e. what's the location of the file ? scraper can generate one in either the ROM's folder or in the Emulationstation folders - so it may be that the file is generated, but you already have a gamelist.xml file in the ROMs folder which takes priority.

                        I'm checking inside /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/megadrive, gamelist.xml here doesn't change.
                        i also checked inside roms folder but there is no xml in it.
